Attribute

A named product characteristic such as wattage, material, dimensions, or mounting type.

Channel readiness

The degree to which a product record satisfies a defined destination’s required fields, values, images, relationships, and formats.

Confidence

A workflow signal used to prioritize human review; it is not proof that a value is correct.

Evidence

The file, page, row, cell, image, or approved record that supports a factual value.

Exception

A record or field requiring judgment because it is missing, conflicting, ambiguous, invalid, or below an agreed confidence threshold.

Grounded enrichment

Content generation constrained by approved product facts, sources, terminology, and business rules.

PIM

A product information management system used to govern structured product records, categories, relationships, and workflows.

Product family

A group of related products or variants that share defining characteristics and relationships.

Taxonomy

The approved hierarchy of product categories and the attributes, rules, and values associated with them.

Variant integrity

The accuracy of relationships among sizes, colors, packs, finishes, voltages, or other variant dimensions.
